After a slow start, the Colts played some excellent passing football against a well organised Treboeth side. Somehow the first half remained goal-less despite the Colts playing some of their best football of the season. Elliott had little to do in goal, but did what he had to well. Davy and Jackson were in control in defence and also supported the attack well. Nayan and Kyle were dangerous on the wings, whilst Taylor, Dan and Callum combined well to put almost continuous pressure on Treboeth. The only thing missing was a goal, although they came close on several occasions. The best effort came when Jackson found Callum with a great pass, and his high shot was just wide.
HT 0-0
The Colts finally got their reward early in the second half, Callum's cross found Dan who made no mistake from close range. The Colts continued to press for the second goal, but as in the first half, they could never quite get the final touch, with Treboeth defending strongly.
Some excellent football. Well played boys.
